On the evening of December 19, 2023, at Room A1.03 Campus A – 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held the Graduation Ceremony of the training program “Regional Chief Executive Officer – Vietnam” for 22 trainees who are executives and senior managers of large Korean enterprises in the South – Vietnam.
In order to help Korean entrepreneurs do better business in the Vietnamese market and live in harmony with Vietnamese society, the Vietnam-Korea Newspaper cooperated with the International Languages and Country Studies Institute (ILACS) under the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City has organized the training program “Regional Chief Executive Officer – Vietnam” to foster in-depth knowledge of Vietnam’s economy, finance, policy, culture, law… for Korean businessmen.
On the evening of December 19, 2023, at Room A1.03 Campus A – 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City held the Graduation Ceremony of the training program “Regional CEO – Vietnam” for 22 trainees who are executives and senior managers of large Korean enterprises in the South – Vietnam.
Attending the Graduation Ceremony, on the side of the guests were the presence of Mr. Kim Jong Gak – Chairman of the Association of Korean Overseas in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Lee Kyung Sun – Chairman, Mr. Shin Dong Min – CEO of Shinhan Bank in Viet Nam. On the UEH side, there was Dr. Dinh Cong Khai – UEH Vice-President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duong Phuong Thao – Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Management – International Cooperation, MBA. Phan Nhu Minh – Dean of ILACS, MBA. Thai Thi Thu Giang – CEO of ILACS.
At the ceremony, Dr. Dinh Cong Khai congratulated Korean businessmen on successfully completing the program “Training regional executives – Vietnam” after studying hard for two semesters. He hopes that this course will give Korean business people more understanding of the business environment, culture, regulations, and laws of Vietnam; thereby developing business effectively and successfully; contributing to economic growth, and developing the friendship between Vietnam and Korea.
The program has undergone 14 courses and successfully trained over 370 Korean business people. In this course, professors from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, economic and cultural experts as well as senior managers at companies and state agencies of Vietnam and Korea reported and answered questions about economics, finance, environment, culture, and effective investment in accordance with the guidelines and laws of the Government of Vietnam.
Over the course of two study semesters, each semester lasting more than 3 months, Korean businessmen in Vietnam have been trained in knowledge and skills in management; Economic knowledge and economic – legal environment of Vietnam; Cultural knowledge of Vietnam, and extracurricular reporting sessions of real experts.
